Paros might just be Greece’s most underrated island. Gorgeous beaches, authentic Cycladic villages, charming waterfront tavernas, and a whole lot less chaos than its more famous neighbors. We spent three blissful days there as part of our Greek island-hopping trip — and stayed at Andronis Minois, a stylish, boutique luxury resort that totally exceeded my expectations for a family stay.
If you’re traveling with a baby or toddler (or older kids, or even on a honeymoon) and want something beautiful, convenient, and actually welcoming to families without sacrificing aesthetics, this is it.
By the way, we paid for our stay:
What Makes Andronis Minois a Hidden Gem for Families?
🌅 Gorgeous Sunsets + Easy Access
Andronis Minois is located just outside of Parikia, the island’s main port town, which makes it super convenient — you’re only a 10-minute drive from the ferry and 15 from the airport. It’s tucked away from the bustle in a peaceful spot with lovely sunset views over the water, even though it’s not right on a beach (but you can still walk to one 10 minutes away).
We loved how quickly we could get everywhere without needing to wind up mountain roads or drive long distances. With a toddler, ease matters — and this location delivered.
They also offer a free shuttle to Parikia and Naoussa.
🛏️ Chic but Family-Friendly Suites
The suites here feel luxurious without being overdone — soft Cycladic lines, airy interiors, and that effortless Greek island aesthetic that just feels relaxing. We stayed in a Blu suite with a private pool, and it gave us that perfect mix of space, privacy, and a quiet spot to unwind during nap time (because yes, you will still be doing naps — just in a prettier setting).
We had two rooms, two bathrooms, a sitting room, and a light and airy entryway with a full-length mirror, along with a huge shaded sitting area outside, and several seats in and around our private pool, which had a sunset view. This is the highest room category with high-season pricing around $2500/night, though other rooms at the resort start closer to $400/night during high season (June-August). You can often get a great deal in April and October.
🩵 Calm, Not Crowded
The vibe here is peaceful. The pool never felt crowded, and I loved how many shallow areas there were. It gave us the chance to actually kick back and relax while my son splashed around with a huge smile on his face.
Given the boutique size of the resort, it wasn’t overrun with people, either. Just the right balance. And the staff? So genuinely kind. Every morning they greeted our son by name and helped make us feel at home.
🍽️ Delicious Food for Everyone
One of the standout elements for us was the on-site restaurant. The food was fresh, local, and beautifully presented — don’t expect a lot of kids menus in Greece, but there’s almost always something on the menu for little ones to enjoy. Breakfast was especially good (and included), with a variety of healthy options, baked goods, and limitless coffee.

Why We Loved Paros for a Family Trip
Paros has everything I want in a Greek island: charm, beauty, authentic villages, and no mega cruise ships. It’s easy to get around, which is a blessing when traveling with little ones, and it still has that classic Greek charm without the Santorini price tag (that said, Santorini is famous for a reason and so worth seeing. Read our full Canaves Epitome review here) or Mykonos scene.
Andronis Minois gave us a soft place to land after long beach days, ferry rides, and toddler meltdowns. It was relaxed, warm, and elegant — in other words, exactly what we needed.
Final Thoughts
Andronis Minois is where quiet luxury meets family practicality — and that’s a rare combination.
