The Best Baby-Friendly Luxury Hotels Worth the Splurge

Traveling with a baby can feel like you’ve signed up for a tactical mission: it’s you, your partner, your baby, and a stroller up against the world. But every now and then, you come across a hotel that doesn’t just accommodate babies—they celebrate them. And if you’re going to splurge on a luxury vacation, let it be one where both you and your baby can relax, recharge, and soak in the perks of world-class service.

These are the hotels that understand what it means to travel with tiny humans that we’ve tried ourselves:

How to Book these Hotels

I’m a travel advisor with the ability to offer extra booking perks at no extra cost at each property mentioned on this list. For most that includes free room upgrades, early check in, late check out (all based on availability), VIP status, and in some cases resort credits or extra experiences.

We’ve stayed in each of these ourselves, and speak from personal experience. It doesn’t cost anything extra to book through me. Contact me here or look at my bespoke trip planning service.

Capella Ubud

travel with a baby in bali

Let’s start with Capella Ubud in Bali. Picture this: you’re nestled in the heart of Bali, feeling like you’re in a luxury camp in 1920s Bali, and the staff just magically get it when it comes to babies. During our stay, they regularly held our baby, showed him plants and cool things to look at, so we could eat dinner—hands-free!

We learned that Bali loves babies. Everyone told us about their young kids, and clearly knew how to operate like a village to help out parents. It’s such a lovely aspect of their culture.

The rooms come with cribs, and we’re big fans of the fact that they each come with a private pool – something we’ve learned to look for on trips. The only downside is there are lots of stairs to some of the room types, so I highly suggest parents book Keliki valley tents to avoid them. Expect to pay around $1,200 a night in high season, but if you go during the low season, you can snag it for closer to $800. Totally worth it when you consider how relaxing it is to just chill at this resort and do nothing.

Six Senses Yao Noi

Six Senses Koh Yao pool

Moving over to Thailand, Six Senses Yao Noi takes baby-friendly to a whole new level of luxury. First off, having a personal butler means you never have to stress about where to get plant-based milk or extra diapers. You can be chauffeured around the property in a golf cart with one simple whatsapp to your butler, making those short trips to the pool and restaurants with the baby painless.

We loved the completely private bungalow where we could hang out at our own bungalow pool during nap time (they provided a beautiful crib and mosquito net), and the gorgeous views from the hilltop pool. By booking through a preferred partner, we were able to get late check out in peak season. I still dream about this stay.

High season here will set you back around $1,400 a night, while low season drops it to $1,000. Trust me, this is the splurge you’ll be glad you made, especially when baby logistics are taken care of before you even have to ask.

Anantara Golden Triangle

And then there’s Anantara Golden Triangle in Chiang Rai, where they blend luxury and elephants in the most magical way. Not only were the staff incredibly sweet with our son, but the elephant encounters were a whole family experience—our baby was completely mesmerized!

I loved the huge pool with plenty of shallow areas, the all-inclusive meal plan which didn’t cost extra for our baby. We also opted to do the jungle bubble, which they delivered us to on a private golf cart, along with dinner on our deck looking at the elephant’s’ sleeping area. We fell asleep under the stars – they even toted the crib and high chair down there for us!

High season prices hover around $2000 per night, with low season dipping to $1,200. For the sheer joy of watching your kiddo see elephants up close, it’s worth every penny.

Intercontinental Singapore Middle Road

Over in Singapore, Intercontinental Singapore on Middle Road was such a great way to spend a stopover, especially since we were upgraded to the most adorable kids’ room, thanks to booking through a preferred partner.

The breakfast buffet was a real highlight, with cooked-to-order items and allergens clearly marked—super important for us since we have a peanut allergy in the family. It’s such a great way to start the day, especially since the hotel is centrally located, making it easy to explore the city with little ones. High season rates hover around $600, with low season bringing it closer to $250. Between the location and the baby-friendly amenities, it’s an easy choice. Edgewood Tahoe

If you’re looking for something closer to home, Edgewood Tahoe in Nevada is one of those gems that makes you feel like you’ve discovered a secret club for families.

Nestled on the shores of South Lake Tahoe near State Line, it offers a calm beach perfect for toddlers, complete with sand toys on hand. The pool is heated year-round, so you can splash while you enjoy the mountain views. High season runs around $1,500 a night, but you can catch a deal during the off-season for $700. With a beach and a heated pool, it’s a perfect mix for both parents and babies to enjoy some chill time.

We also benefitted from a room upgrade, early check in, 4pm check out, free breakfast, and $100 resort credit here, so we got a huge value out of Virtuoso.

While that’s all we’ve tried so far, we have the Waldorf Astoria Cabo San Pedregal and Costa Rica, Andaz Costa Rica, Auberge’s Hacianda Alta Gracia, and more coming up. Stay tuned!
