The 5 BEST Places to Stay in Singapore with Little Kids That are Worth the Splurge
If you’re going to Singapore with little kids, this is one of those cities where you can actually have it all – family friendliness and luxury wrapped into one neat little package. Singapore has Incredible food, seamless logistics, and hotels that genuinely make family travel easier instead of harder. These are the stays that actually get it.
Here’s exactly where we’ve stayed and would stay again:
How to Book with Complimentary VIP Amenities
Did you know that a travel advisor can help you get extra amenities for no extra cost? Think of us as your inside connection to the best hotels in the world.
Instead of booking on your own, you book through us at the exact same rate—but because of our partnerships, the hotel treats you like a VIP. That’s how you get these perks, without paying anything extra:
✨ room upgrades when available
🍳 daily breakfast included
💵 resort or hotel credits to use on property
⏰ early check-in & late check-out when available
🎁 VIP treatment and priority for special requests
Your booking is still a direct booking with the resort, just with our agent ID attached. You still earn full loyalty points too! We’re not a call center or a generic booking site. We’re real people who know these properties, help match you to the right hotel for your trip, and can advocate for you behind the scenes—whether that’s securing the best room, noting a special occasion, or helping if anything goes sideways. Here’s more about how it works.
Mandai Rainforest Reserve

This is the most unique stay in Singapore right now, located right at the zoo, which was the perfect jumping off point for Exploria, breakfast in the wild, and night safari, too!
While not right inside the city like the rest of this list, you’re inside the rainforest, not just looking at it. The resort opened recently and has treehouse-style rooms made to look like seed pods, which was where we stayed. These rooms come with exclusive access to these unique nest-style pools and a golf cart to take you to and from the zoo. The resort also has family setups with a king bed plus bunks, which already solves one of the biggest family travel problems.
You’re also directly connected to the zoo, Night Safari, and bird park. That alone makes your itinerary easier.
Agent perks
• Upgrade on arrival if available
• Daily breakfast for two
• SGD 135 resort credit (yes, you can put it toward zoo tickets!)
• Early check-in and late check-out if available
• VIP welcome and priority for room placement

The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore

This is classic luxury, but it actually works with kids.
The rooms are big. That matters more than people realize in Singapore. You’ll have space for a crib, luggage, and not feel like you’re stepping over each other. The Marina Bay views and those huge soaking tubs are a bonus when you need to wind down.
We were also amazed by how much they provided for babies – a stroller, milk warmer, mini bathrobes, bottle steamers, a tent for her to play in, and a cookie decorating kit and stuffies.
The location is also one of the easiest in the city. Flat, walkable, stroller-friendly. You can read our full Ritz Carlton Millennia review here.

The Fullerton Hotel Singapore

If you want something with character, this is it.
It’s a historic building that was once the post office right on the river, which makes it feel completely different from the high-rise hotels. You get a sense of place here, not just a nice room.
It’s also surprisingly family-friendly. Kids get welcome amenities and there are simple activities that make the stay feel thoughtful instead of just accommodating.
Location-wise, this is one of the best in the city. Easy walks along the river, quick access to everything. Read our full Fullerton Hotel review.

Frasers House (Family Room)

This one is quietly one of the smartest choices for families, especially if you want luxury for a bit less than the Shangri la but still want a family themed room.
The family rooms are actually designed for families. Not just a rollaway bed. You get bunk beds, separate sleeping areas, and layouts that make sense when your kids go to bed before you do.
We actually got upgraded to this room the first time we visited Singapore and it was such a nice surprise!
It’s in Bugis, which is one of the most practical areas to stay. Great food, easy transport, and a bit more local energy.

Shangri-La Singapore

This is the most kid-focused luxury hotel in Singapore. Nothing else comes close.
They have 5 different themed family suites designed specifically for kids – we stayed in the underwater themed room. While they’re not as ornate as the family themed rooms at Island Shangri La in Hong Kong, my son hardly noticed, and they have a couple things HK doesn’t – a massive indoor play space and outdoor water area complete with splash pad, water slides, and pirate ship, that can easily fill half your day.
It feels more like a resort than a city hotel, which is exactly what you want when traveling with little kids.
Agent perks through Shangri-La Luxury Circle or Virtuoso
• Upgrade on arrival if available
• Daily breakfast for two
• $100 hotel credit
• Early check-in and late check-out if available
• Priority access to family rooms and kids programming

Final thoughts
If you want the one that animal lovers will go crazy for, Mandai wins.
If you want easy, polished luxury, go Ritz.
If you want charm and location, Fullerton.
If you want the most functional room setup, Frasers House Family Room.
If you want the hotel to do half the parenting for you, Shangri-La.
And this is the part people still don’t fully get. When you book through a travel agent like us, you’re paying the same rate either way. The difference is whether you’re getting upgrades, breakfast, and actual VIP treatment layered on top. Get in touch to book.
Some of these hotels (Ritz and Fullerton) hosted our stay, the remainder we paid for. All of these made the list because we loved them with our families!
