The Best Dagne Dover Dupes
Dagne Dover have made a name for themselves when it comes to diaper bags that are chic, durable, and make a statement.
They’re kind of the Artipoppe of the diaper bag world, which means that in addition to a cult-like following, they’re on the pricey side. But are there Dagne Dover dupes out there that cost less, look similar, and work just as well?
I’ve done the research, read reviews, and I’m here to tell you that yes, there are! This list has some of the best Dagne Dover alternatives on the internet:
Designer for less:
- Childhome Mommy Bag – $154
- Childhome Family Bag – $79
- Beaba Paris Diaper Bag – $109
- UPPAbaby Jake Changing Bag – $129
- Herschel Baby Nova Sprout Backpack – $130
Keep In Mind…
Part of what makes Dagne Dover so popular is their enduring quality, lasting through multiple kids. As the previous owner of a cheapie diaper bag that tore to shreds in a few months, I’m here to tell you it’s often cheaper in the long run to get the quality diaper bag from the beginning. They often hold their resale value well and are sometimes available secondhand (on Poshmark or Mercari) in barely used condition. I also appreciate Dagne Dover’s commitment to being a green company that’s women-run.
That said, if you’re still on the hunt for a dupe, here’s what I found on Amazon that looks similar:
Like the Indi – Bunso Neoprene Diaper Bag
Perhaps the most adored of the Dagne Dover bags, the Indi Neoprene is the diaper bag backpack that most people are looking to dupe. I found the Bunso Neoprene on Tiktok and on a few dupe forums. It’s nearly the same size, comes with the inserts and can also strap to your stroller.
Many of the Amazon reviews also mention buying this as a Dagne Dover dupe, though it may not stand the test of time. Some reviewers complain the inner lining has torn after a few months of use.
Promising review: “Designer without the designer price tag! The neoprene is easy to spot clean, it comes with stroller straps, a wet bag, dry bag, and it has so much room inside. I like that the side buckles can come undone for more space. The cream bag is very chic- people compliment it all the time! This is one of my favorite baby things!”
Like the Landon – Fit & Fresh Premium Neoprene Weekender
The Landon Neoprene Carryall is perfect for weekend escapes with the family, whether you’re traveling with one baby or multiple kids.
Fit & Fresh’s Neoprene Weekender is a similar size, and comes in black, elderberry, and moss colors. It has self-locking zippers, plenty of pockets, and can hold up to 50 lbs. At $46, it’s less than a quarter of the cost of the Dagne Dover.
Promising review: “Took this duffel on a few trips, weekend to NYC, Christmas at my parents. Was able to easily pack everything I needed (and then some!) without worrying about a seam or zipper busting. Comfy handles that don’t cut into your shoulders, strong zipper that can handle some pressure. Super cute and trendy color!”
Like the Dakota – Light Flight Backpack
The Light Flight is technically a laptop bag, but it has plenty of pockets and can be zipped open from so many angles, it also would make the perfect diaper bag backpack. It has side pockets, front pockets, and for working mamas, the laptop sleeve is mighty convenient. Plus, this one will only set you back $36.
Though it’s not made from neoprene like Dagne Dovers’ Dakota bag, it’s got a water resistant material that buyers have rated overwhelmingly positively on Amazon.
Promising review: “After nearly a year of use and many trips, some international, this backpack still looks brand new. Unlike others I’ve had, including major brands, it hasn’t gotten a single rip or tear. I’m not gentle with it, either.”
Like the Wade – mommore Diaper Bag Tote
This diaper bag tote has insulated pockets for bottles, plenty of room for all the snacks, larger pockets for diapers, and can strap to a stroller. Though it’s not made from Neoprene, it’s got a water resistant material, and though it doesn’t have as many reviews as the others on this list, the ones they do have are positive. It’s also a much more affordable $40 to the Wade Neoprene‘s $215.
Promising review: “Lightweight, good quality, beautiful color, great option for the value. You get the stroller caddy, the changing pad and the bag for the price. Worth it and beautiful”
Great for Pumping
If you’re a pumping mama – and I was for nearly 7 months – the Elvie Seoul Max Diaper Bag backpack is perfect, especially if you’re using Elvie pumps. It has an insulated inner pocket for a bottle, space for two pumps to fit easily into the bag, a technology pocket if you need to stash a computer or iPad, and a pouch especially for a freezer bag with an Elvie-shaped cold tray for the milk bottles.
I tried this one out myself and can vouch, it’s a great bag that looks classy and has comfy backpack straps, plus it’s affordable at $199, and frequently goes on sale.
Designer for Less
Just because Dagne Dover is the trendiest diaper bag brand right now doesn’t mean they’re the only one! After perusing Saks, I found some adorable alternatives, all for less:
Childhome Mommy Diaper Bag
I absolutely love the look of this one. Though not as understated as Dagne Dover, I kind of love that this Childhome Mommy Bag has “Mommy” written all over it. This diaper bag has all the familiar features a diaper bag should have like large storage space, handy zippers, multiple pockets, and an insulated bottle pouch but in a sporty design. It comes with a changing pad, and would be great for multiple kids or long weekends away, as it’s a large bag.
It’s not the same bargain basement prices as the Amazon dupes, but at $154 it’s still about $75 less than the Dagne Dover, and I imagine it would fetch even more compliments. I love it so much I just might have to get it myself.
If you like the look of the Mommy bag but want something cheaper and more daddy-friendly, the Family bag has a classy look and is even cheaper at $79.
Promising Review: “This bag is the one! Buy it! I love fashion items and this bag looks amazing. It’s made of great material and the colors pop. People ask me where I bought it. It looks like something from one of the high end designers and fits so much stuff. We took a week vacation and all my daughters stuff fit in here!”
Beaba Paris Diaper Bag
If you’re looking for something lower key than a bag with Mommy written all over it, enter the Beaba Paris diaper bag. It also comes with a changing pad, has multiple easy access compartments, comes with stroller straps, and can slide onto the handle of a suitcase.
It also comes in brick, pink, and sage, and mimics Dagne Dover with its understated elegance, but for closer to half price at $109. Unlike the Amazon dupes, it’s made from a well-known baby brand that makes quality products. I can vouch, as I love the Beaba Babycook baby food maker.
Promising review: “Beautiful bag. Spacious without being bulky. High quality materials. I love it!”
UPPAbaby Jake Changing Bag
You know UPPAbaby, maker of some of the best strollers, like the Vista and the Minu, as well as one of the highest-end baby brands in the US. They prioritize nontoxic materials in what they make, and they’re known for creating a quality product. As the owner of the UPPAbaby Mesa and Vista, I’m here to tell you, the products truly last.
I had no idea they also made diaper bags, but it makes sense, since they are the experts in all things baby. The Jake bag is probably the most understated on this list looks-wise, with multiple compartments to keep diapers and wipes within reach, spacious storage compartment for personal items or a laptop, water-resistant outer material and wipeable inner lining, and naturally, straps to attach to your favorite UPPAbaby stroller.
Promising review: “I’m loving this diaper bag! It has two large compartments . The straps are very sturdy and the way it attaches to the stroller is convenient. Only con, I would like an exterior stretch pocket for a bottle on the side of the bag”
Herschel Supply Co Nova Sprout Diaper Bag Backpack
For stylish outings, the Nova Sprout backpack includes an easy-access folding change mat that stows in the bag’s custom compartment along with integrated storage for essentials. This one is the most reminiscent of the Dakota backpack by Dagne Dover IMO, with a similar design but lower price at $130. It also comes in pink!
Conveniently, it has external zippered side-access to changing mat, which is a folding easy-wipe changing mat with reinforced mesh wing pockets, an optional hook-and-loop fastened changing mat storage divider, and water bottle pocket and mesh sleeve.
Promising review: “I loooove this bag! I purchased a different diaper bag before our baby was born and once I started using it I realized I didn’t love it. I wanted something more stylish and less diaper-bag-looking (if that makes sense). We already have Herschel bags for ourselves so when I saw this I knew I had to get it.”
As you can see, there’s a HUGE range of diaper bags out there, and though Dagne Dover might be the trendiest of the moment, there are other designers who make sturdy bags that can also be worth investing in.
